Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya Receives "Rumelian Who Adds Value to Our Country" Award
The Association of Rumelian Executives, Businesspeople and Industrialists (RUMELİSİAD) held the 109th Rumelian Gathering on 24 September 2026 at Podyum Davet in Bursa. The 2nd "Rumelians Who Add Value to Our Country" Award Ceremony took place as part of the event.
Hosted by RUMELİSİAD President Murat Evke, the evening honored six figures who have made contributions to Bursa and Türkiye in the economic, social, cultural and sporting fields. Şenol Şankaya, Yeşim Group CEO, was among those honored and received his award at the ceremony.
Şankaya is one of the leaders guiding Yeşim Group's global production and employment capacity. Through his leadership in the textile sector, he contributes to the Turkish economy and to Bursa's industrial heritage. The ceremony brought together business leaders, industrialists and figures from different walks of life with Rumelian roots. It highlighted the themes of solidarity and continuity.
